Soul Food in Foley

“Hattie’s is all around a great traditional Soul Food restaurant!! The steak was melt in your mouth tender and pork chops were tender and mouth watering delicious! My husband was not happy I suggested this place 30 minute drive. Afterwords he was so pleased we ordered two meals to go in addition to our dine in meals. The sides were all delicious! Wings and Catfish were both delicious even eaten cold. Go try them, you won’t be disappointed!”

“What a fantastic restaurant! Everything is made from scratch and seasoned perfectly. This is true southern soul food. All staff are wonderful. Dang good food. The chef is truly a master of soul food and takes no short cuts. I would give this place a 10+++++ if I could.”

“Definitely add this to your list of places to eat... We had the daily specials and it was delicious. True home cooking with flavor. You won't find much better in the area. We had the shrimp basket and pork chop sandwich. I was surprised at the flavor and quality. Prior Reviews said to make sure you try the Mac and cheese and it was just as good as described. Also we had the bacon cabbage and that was my favorite. We will definitely go again to try other entrees.”

“Met my brother here for lunch today. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The baked Mac and cheese was also very delicious. My brother had the catfish, fried cabbage, and fried okra. All of his was excellent as well. Both the Chef and Manager came to our table, and asked how everything was. We will be back.”

Absolutely a most eat! If you like “Karaoke” Thursday Nights is the place to be!! O and ask for Stacey very nice and sweet service!”

“This is the best home cooked soul food I’ve ever had. Skip lamberts, Cracker Barrel and all that. Best greens, meatloaf, and homemade peach ice cream. Super friendly staff as well. Cant wait to come back!”

“Had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised with the taste the flavor the seasoning and overall goodness of the options we chose. My daughter had the chicken and dumplings and I had the squash casserole and collard greens. All were amazing and I will definiyely return for more!”

“Rebekah was our server on our first visit after a long day at the beach. We ordered the beef gravy, with mashed potatoes, hush puppies and bacon cabbage. Nothing was left. Also ordered the candied yams, cornbread dressing, baked Mac and cheese, and fried green tomatoes. Nothing was bad. These pictures were taken mid meal unfortunately we couldn't wait to eat. Portions are hefty so be prepared.”

“I was so excited to have some good soul food (we are from outta town). This place did not disappoint!! Got the catfish and fried chicken with okra, cabbage, greens and beans of the day. Also tried the coconut cake. Yummy to my tummy!!! The server was so friendly and full of energy and we just enjoyed everything about this place!!”
