“My husband and I came for a late Saturday lunch. The owner seated us and talked with us and was so kind! Our food was amazinggggg. I had fried pork chops and my husband ordered catfish. Everything was so tender and fresh, fish was flaky, and cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was probably the best I’ve ever had. Such a welcoming environment and I cannot wait to go back!”

“Hattie’s is all around a great traditional Soul Food restaurant!! The steak was melt in your mouth tender and pork chops were tender and mouth watering delicious! My husband was not happy I suggested this place 30 minute drive. Afterwords he was so pleased we ordered two meals to go in addition to our dine in meals. The sides were all delicious! Wings and Catfish were both delicious even eaten cold. Go try them, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Was driving by in my truck 🚛💨 and so glad I stopped in. The catfish and grits were smackin. Food for the soul. Oh and some fellas were in there singing as well. Such a wonderful pleasant time. I’ll be back indeed.”

“Some of the best soul food I have ever had, and I've had a lot over the years. I had the catfish with carrot souffle and greens and my wife had the catfish and shrimp platter. Everything was well seasoned and so fresh. Rebecca, our waitress, was so friendly and patient as we looked over the menu. The dining room is clean and very spacious, with a karaoke set up at the end, for Friday Karaoke nights. They also serve To Go homemade deserts (cakes/pies) like Chocolate Oreo cake which we took home. It was moist and tasty!”

One of the owners came around and asked if we were ok and he sang happy birthday to one of the customers who had a birthday !!!( he had an amazing voice) it’s nice to see that he’s out here not worrying bout getting “dirty” the food was incredible I had the catfish. And carrot soufflé ! And omg I loved it !!! Will definitely be back !!!”
