“Some of the best soul food I have ever had, and I've had a lot over the years. I had the catfish with carrot souffle and greens and my wife had the catfish and shrimp platter. Everything was well seasoned and so fresh. Rebecca, our waitress, was so friendly and patient as we looked over the menu. The dining room is clean and very spacious, with a karaoke set up at the end, for Friday Karaoke nights. They also serve To Go homemade deserts (cakes/pies) like Chocolate Oreo cake which we took home. It was moist and tasty!”

“Wasn't sure what to expect, given the outside of the building. But this restaurant has a very complete Southern menu, full bar, draft beer, and fabulous staff. Shrimp poor boy was cooked to perfection, soft, fresh roll. Took my dessert with me. Couldn't pass up the red velvet cake. Thank you, Hattie's, for a very nice lunch experience.”
